How do you summarize the conversation?

You get a short summary of a conversation consisting of multiple mails, the resulting tasks, the dates mentioned and the questions awaiting a reply from AI with a single tap. Who can do this: Any user signed in to the app. If no new mail has arrived in the conversation, when you request the same summary again, the ready summary appears immediately.

Get summary

  1. Open an email in the thread. If the thread contains more than one email, the Summarize thread button appears.

  2. Tap the button. The summary opens on the card in a few seconds; the header shows the number of emails in the thread 1.

  3. The card has summary items and sections for To-dos 2, Dates and Questions awaiting a reply.

  4. If a new email has arrived in the conversation, regenerate the summary with Refresh 3.

  5. The note at the bottom of the card 4 reminds you that the summary comes from AI; for important decisions, check the emails themselves.
