How do you apply the same action to multiple mails?

The user selects multiple emails by ticking the boxes next to the rows in the email list and applies the same action to all of them from the panel that opens: read, unread, archive, trash or quarantine. Who can do this: A user with permission in the relevant mailboxes. A "… emails updated" notification appears. Emails in mailboxes you do not have permission for are skipped, remain in place in the list, and the number skipped is reported.

Steps

  1. Select the checkboxes next to the emails you want to act on in the list 1. To select all emails in the list or search results, use Select all; subsequent pages not visible on screen are also loaded and selected (up to 5,000 emails).

  2. From the Your options for … emails panel that opens on the right, select the action 2: Read, Unread, Archive, Trash or Quarantine.
