How to obtain an integrity certificate?
Every email is archived unchanged at the moment it is received or sent, and its SHA-256 hash is recorded. Who can do this: a user who can see the email. The integrity certificate recalculates this hash now and compares it. With Legal hold on the same card, the email is protected from permanent deletion. Open the email and click Integrity certificate on the Summary & Metadata tab in the right panel.
Steps
Open the email and, in the Summary & Details tab in the right panel, click Integrity document. The document opens in a window.
Read the result 1 and the recalculated summary 2. The QR code in the window 3 carries the result, the two SHA-256 digests, the archiving and verification time, and the link included in the email; when you print the document, these values can be read with a phone.
If needed, click Print 4; only the document is printed.
