How to use the AI summary and attachment analysis?

The user sees a short summary of the email and an analysis of the attachments in the Summary & Details tab in the side panel. Who can do this: a user who can see the email (AI permission to re-interpret it). The summary and attachment cards are saved; when the email is reopened, they appear without waiting. An attached invoice, quote or contract is turned into a card with the parties, dates, amounts, document details and actions to be taken.

Steps

  1. Open the email and click the Summary & Details tab on the far right. The Content summary explains what the email asks for in a few sentences 1; if it is long, it is shortened, and Show more reveals the full text. The AI's warnings about this email are shown in full in a separate section below the summary.

  2. To have the summary prepared again, click Reinterpret 2. The new summary replaces the saved one.

  3. In the Attachments section, open the attachment card 3. The card contains the document type, Parties, Dates, Amounts, Document details, Highlights and Action items.

  4. If the attachments have not been analyzed, click Analyze … attachment with AI. To see the card's file, choose Show file.
