What are email list actions in the mobile app?

When you long-press an email in the list, everything you can do with that email opens in a single menu; you can reply, label and archive without opening the email. Who can do it: any user signed in to the app. The action is applied immediately and the list updates; you do not need to open the email. The menu shows only the actions for which you have permission in that mailbox.

  1. In the inbox or a folder, press and hold the email you want to act on. The email subject appears at the top of the menu 1.

  2. Tap the action you want to perform: Open, Reply, Reply all, Forward, Mark as read 2, Pin, Archive, Send to quarantine, copy sender address or subject, Select, Delete.

  3. If you reply without opening the email, the email opens in the background and the compose screen appears with the correct subject.

Note The menu only shows actions for which you have permission in that mailbox. For example, in a mailbox where you only have read permission, Delete and Archive do not appear.
Tip When multiple emails are selected, long-pressing does not open a menu; it adds that email to the selection or removes it from the selection. For bulk action Performing actions on multiple emails look at its page.
