Create storage area

The administrator creates a new storage area from the Storage Areas page in SmartFiles settings. Each storage area is a separate file repository with its own permissions and folder tree; usually created for a department or project. Details: department-based file areas.

How to create a storage area?

An administrator creates a new storage area from the Storage Areas page in SmartFiles settings. Who can do this: Administrator; permission to create storage areas. The new area appears in the Existing areas list. Click on it to determine who has access. Each storage area is a separate file repository with its own permissions and folder tree, typically created for a department or project.

Steps

  1. Open the Settings page of SmartFiles in the DBLinx tenant panel (tenant.smart360.com.tr).

  2. Click on Storage Areas from the left menu.

  3. On the New area card, write the area's name in the Name field 1; optionally fill in the Description (optional) field.

  4. Click the Create button 2.
