A user with read permission opens the document without leaving the panel by double-clicking the file or using the Preview button in the detail panel; they download it to their computer via Download from the preview window. Details: preview.

How to preview and download a file?

A user with read permission opens the document without leaving the panel by double-clicking the file or clicking the Preview button in the detail panel; they download it to their computer using Download from the preview window. Who can do this: User; Read permission in Area. The document opens in a preview window; if AI is enabled, you can ask questions about the document on the side.

Steps

  1. Double-click the file or select it and click Preview in the detail panel.

  2. Click Full screen 2 to enlarge the document.

  3. Click Download to download the file to your computer 1.

"Tip To download multiple files together, select them and use the Download button that appears at the top. With preview open, use the ← and → keys to navigate to the previous and next files in the folder.
