How do you move or delete multiple items together?

Select multiple files and folders to move or send to the trash in one go. Who can do this: Users with edit (move) or delete permission in the area. If some items cannot be moved or deleted, the number of failures is reported separately; others are processed. Press and hold an item.

Steps

  1. Long-press an item. Selection mode opens and the item is selected.

  2. Tap other items to add or remove them from the selection. A check mark appears on selected items. 1"

  3. The top bar shows how many items you have selected; tap Move or Delete. 2"

  4. Tap the cross on the bar to exit selection, or deselect the last selected item.
