What is the personal data warning?

Warning displayed in the mobile application when a file contains a Turkish ID number, IBAN, card number, phone, email, or potentially special category personal data. Who can do this: Any user who can view the file. Rows and warnings only appear in files containing personal data. Health, judicial, biometric, and union information are marked as potential: indicates that expressions referring to such data are found in the text, but is not a definitive finding.

SmartFiles scans the file text using rules and counts personal data types. Only numbers are visible in the application; the actual found values are never displayed.

Steps

  1. Tap a file to open its details.

  2. If personal data is found in the file, the Personal data row appears on the General tab; e.g., 1 TC ID no, 2 phone · possible health data. 1"

  3. When creating an external sharing link for the same file, the sharing page displays the warning Personal data found in this file. 2 You decide whether to continue sharing.
