How to search for files and folders?

The user finds files and folders in their current area by typing part of the name into the File or folder search box in the top bar. Who can do this: User. The selected file opens in its own folder. Search matches characters literally; symbols like % or _ are also searched as plain text.

Steps

  1. Click the search box at the top or press ⌘K (on Windows Ctrl+K) 3.

  2. Type part of the name you are searching for.

  3. Click on one of the results.
