Switching between organisations

If you have accounts in multiple SmartPM organizations (for example, each factory has its own organization), you can switch to another organization with a single click from the account menu in the top right. You do not need to re-enter your password; a new session is opened in the target organization.

How to switch between organizations?

If you have accounts in multiple SmartPM organizations (for example, each factory has its own organization), you can switch to another organization with a single click from the account menu in the top right. Who can do this: Users with accounts in multiple organizations. The Dashboards screen of the target organization opens; your projects, notifications, and permissions are based on your account in that organization.

Steps

  1. Click the button showing your name in the top right; the account menu opens.

  2. The Organizations section at the top of the menu lists the organizations you can access 1. The organization you are currently working in is displayed in bold and marked as This organization.

  3. Click the organization you want to switch to. The SmartPM address for that organization opens in the same tab.

Result The Dashboards screen of the target organization opens; your projects, notifications, and permissions are based on your account in that organization. Your session in the previous organization does not close; when you return to its address, you continue where you left off.
Tip If you have an account in only one organization, the Organizations section is not visible. An organization shown in faded text with the note No address next to it does not have a panel address defined; it cannot be selected. Ask your organization administrator to define the address. On mobile, the organization list is below the menu in the top left.
