Setting working days for a project

You can select working days separately for each project; for example, if site work continues on Saturday, you add Saturday. Task durations, dependencies, automatic scheduling, critical path, and Gantt charts are calculated based on these days.

How to set the project's working days?

You can select working days separately for each project; for example, if site work continues on Saturday, you add Saturday. Who can do this: Project Manager. Dependencies are reapplied according to the new calendar: for example, if Saturday is added, a task ending on Friday can now start on Saturday. Task durations, dependencies, automatic scheduling, critical path, and Gantt charts are calculated based on these days.

Steps

  1. Open the Settings tab in the project.

  2. In the Working days section, select the days that are working days; selected days appear coloured 1. Changes are saved immediately.

  3. To revert to your organisation's general setting, click Revert to Organisation Setting.

Result Dependencies are reapplied according to the new calendar: for example, if Saturday is added, a task ending on Friday can now start on Saturday. Grey columns in the Gantt chart indicate non-working days.
Tip Existing card dates do not shift automatically; the new calendar is used when you drag a card or a dependency changes. At least one day must be selected. You can undo the change with Ctrl+Z.
