No email verification is requested from the customer The email you enter is recorded as your declaration. On orders you create for this customer, the customer checks the agreement box on the payment page and proceeds directly to payment; no confirmation code is sent to their email. This convenience applies as long as your organization is active and the customer's registered email remains the same as the address you entered; otherwise the payment page requires a confirmation code.
"Invalid tax ID" warning The number is validated when the customer is created, that is before the order and payment. Enter the 10-digit tax ID number for companies, or the 11-digit national ID number for individuals, checking the digits carefully.
The customer couldn't be created because the tax number is already registered. This customer is already registered on DBLinx; they may be linked to another partner or directly to DBLinx. Transfers are handled only through DBLinx.

Editing customer information

My Customersopen the customer and Edit informationClick it. Change the company name, trade name, tax number, tax office, billing address, email, and phone, then Saveclick it. The Owner, Administrator, and Sales roles can edit; a distributor can also edit the customers of its sub-resellers.

  • Before the products are set up, the customer's email is the address of the administrator user to be created after payment. When you change it, the link for orders awaiting payment and the setup invitation are sent to the new address.
  • After the products are set up, changing the email here updates the invoice and payment link address; for the administrator's login address, use the Changing the administrator's email section below.
  • The tax number and trade name of a customer who has already been invoiced cannot be changed from the dashboard; contact DBLinx for a correction.
  • A tax number or email already registered to another customer cannot be entered.

Changing the administrator's email

The customer's administrator signs in to app.dblinx.net and its products with their own email address. This address can be changed from the dashboard even after the products have been set up. My Customersopen the customer, Administrator's emailclick it, enter the new address, then Continueclick it. Read the confirmation question on screen, then Yes, changeclick it. The Owner, Administrator, and Sales roles can make the change.

  • The administrator's account, in the customer dashboard and across all products, moves to the new address.
  • The administrator's open sessions are closed immediately; they sign in again with the new address. Their password does not change.
  • An informational email is sent to the new address. If the administrator hasn't set a password yet, this email includes a password-setup link valid for 7 days; any invitation previously sent to the old address becomes invalid.
  • A "your email address has changed" security notification is sent to the old address. The notification shows only the first letter and the domain of the new address.
  • If the customer record's email is the same as the administrator's, it also becomes the new address; the link for orders awaiting payment is sent to the new address.
  • The action, along with who performed it, Activity historyis recorded in it.
The address could not be changed. If the address you entered is already registered to another DBLinx account, the change is not made. If the administrator's login identity is also used in another customer account or a partner organization, only they or DBLinx can change the address.

Deleting or closing a customer

The Owner and Administrator permanently delete a customer whose payment hasn't been received and whose product hasn't been set up, using Delete customer . The customer's unpaid orders are also deleted; any payment links already sent stop working. Deletion cannot be undone; the dashboard asks for confirmation.

A customer whose payment has been received or whose product has been set up cannot be deleted; the reason is shown on screen. Open a closure request to DBLinx and write a short explanation, then submit the request. The Sales role, which doesn't have delete permission, uses the Open closure request button in the customer's row. DBLinx approves the closure of the subscription; the result Orders screen's Requests section.
