Set your password (via invitation link)

An employee added to DBLinx sets their own SmartID password using the link the administrator sends them. The password is set once, and the person signs in with the same password across every DBLinx product they have access to.

What is setting your password (via invitation link)?

An employee added to DBLinx sets their own SmartID password using the link the administrator sends them. Who can do this: any employee who receives an invitation or password-reset link. Your SmartID password is set; you now sign in to every product you have access to with this password. The password is set once, and the person signs in with the same password across every DBLinx product they have access to.

Steps

  1. Open the link your administrator emailed you or sent you another way; "Set your SmartID password" screen appears.

  2. Enter your new password twice.

  3. "Set password"click it.

  4. "Your password is set" screen, go straight to one of the products you have access to, or sign in from the product's own sign-in screen with your username and new password.

Result Your SmartID password is set; you now sign in to every product you have access to with this password.
"The passwords don't match" warning Enter the same password in both fields.
The link doesn't work. Links are single-use. Ask your administrator for a new one: Send a password link.
The link in the Welcome document If your account was opened by our team, the Welcome PDF you received contains the first administrator's password-setup link and its QR code. The link is single-use and valid for 7 days; you can also open it by scanning the QR code with your phone.
