Cancelling a pending order

The Purchases section of the DBLinx organization panel shows orders awaiting payment in the "Orders awaiting payment" list. You can cancel an order you've given up on from here; since no payment was made, no charge arises.

How do I cancel a pending order?

The Purchases section of the DBLinx organization panel shows orders awaiting payment in the "Orders awaiting payment" list. Who can do this: an administrator who can sign in to the organization panel. The order appears with a Canceled status in Order history. You can cancel an order you've given up on from here; since no payment was made, no charge arises.

Steps

  1. From the left menu in the organization panel, Purchasesfrom the left menu.

  2. "Orders awaiting payment" list, find the order you want to cancel; the order code is at the start of the row.

  3. On the row, "Cancel"click it.

Result The order Order historyappears with Canceled status. A new order is opened to buy the same product again.
Can a paid order be canceled? Paid orders cannot be canceled from this screen. See Ending a subscription. Ending a subscription.
What happens if I reorder the same plan? If the amount hasn't changed, your pending order simply stays as it is and no new order is created. If the price, campaign or discount changed, the old order "Replaced with a new one because the price changed." is canceled with that note, and a new order with the current amount is created in its place. If you used a coupon on the old order, your coupon entitlement is returned.
"Order could not be canceled" warning Refresh the page and try again; if the problem persists, open a support ticket.
