Token limits

You can set daily, weekly and per-visitor limits within your plan’s monthly AI allowance. When the limit is reached, visitors are redirected to your team or a contact form.

What are token limits?

You can set daily, weekly and per-visitor limits within your plan’s monthly AI allowance. Who can do this: Company administrator. If the AI does not respond, the visitor is handed over to an available agent; if no one is available, a contact form is shown. When the limit is reached, visitors are redirected to your team or a contact form.

Steps

  1. Open Limits under Management → Settings.

  2. Fill in the Daily total token limit and Weekly token limit fields 1. Empty or 0 means unlimited.

  3. Enter the maximum amount a single visitor can consume in the last 24 hours in the Daily tokens per visitor field 2.

  4. Optionally, set the Maximum simultaneous chats per agent limit 3 and save.

When the limit is reachedThe AI does not respond; the visitor is handed over to an available agent, and if none are available, a contact form is shown. The visitor is not told internal details.
Weekly limitThe weekly limit starts from Monday 00:00 and prevents the monthly allowance from being used up in a single week.
