Switch between organisations

If the same person can access multiple SmartSales stores (e.g., separate stores for two factories or two brands), the My Organisations list appears in the My Account menu at the top right of the panel. Clicking a store in the list opens that store's panel without requiring re-login.

How to switch between organisations?

If the same person can access multiple SmartSales stores (e.g., separate stores for two factories or two brands), the My Organisations list appears in the My Account menu at the top right of the panel. What is switching between organisations?

Each SmartSales store is a separate organisation and operates under its own address. The My Organisations list shows all stores your account can access. The list only appears if you have two or more stores; the menu does not open for users with only one store.

Switching to another organisation

  1. Click the button in the top right of the dashboard that displays your name. The 1 My Account menu opens.

  2. In the My Organisations list at the top of the menu, the store you are currently in is marked as this organisation and cannot be clicked. 2

  3. Click the name of the store you wish to switch to. 3 The store's panel opens in the same tab; you will not be asked for your password again.

Result: A new session is opened in the store you switched to. Your permissions are based on your role in that store. The previous store's session does not close; you can switch back by selecting it from the list.

Faded organisation

A store with an undefined panel address appears faded in the list with no address next to it. 4 You cannot switch to this store from the list; it becomes selectable once the address is defined. Stores from which your access has been revoked or which are closed do not appear in the list; if you try to switch to one, an error message appears in the menu.
