# Suggesting subtasks with AI

To break down a large task, you receive suggestions from AI. Suggestions are prepared based on the task title and description; you select the ones you want and add them as subtasks with a single click.

## Steps

- Open the task panel. The more detailed the description, the more accurate the suggestions.

- In the Subtasks section, click Suggest with AI.

- Review suggested subtasks and their estimated durations; deselect any you do not want.

- If subtasks must be done sequentially, keep Link Sequentially enabled, then click Add Selected.

> Result Your selected suggestions are added as subtasks. If the parent task has a start date, subtasks are dated based on their durations; if Link Sequentially is enabled, each links to the end of the previous one.

> Tip Suggestions are generated by artificial intelligence; review them before adding. Subtasks already present in the task are not suggested again. AI usage deducts from your organisation's monthly DBLinx allowance.
