# Workload and capacity

The Workload page shows how much work each person has in upcoming weeks compared to their weekly capacity. You can see who is busy and who is free, then distribute work accordingly.

- View: projects you are a member of (company administrators view all projects); customer accounts cannot view.

- Change capacity: company administrators for everyone, each person for themselves.

## Steps

- Enter estimated duration for cards: write "6h", "1:30" or "45m" in the Estimated Duration row in the card window. In table view, you can also quickly enter data for multiple cards by opening the Estimate column.

- Click Workload in the left menu. Rows represent persons, columns represent weeks; each cell displays 'workload / capacity' in hours. The bar turns yellow at 70% and red when capacity is exceeded.

- Enter the person's weekly capacity in hours in the box next to their name. If left blank, 40 hours are assumed.

- Clicking a cell lists the cards contributing to that week's workload; clicking a card opens it within the project.

> Result Load is calculated automatically: the estimated duration of an open card is divided equally among assigned persons and spread evenly across remaining working days from today until the card's due date. When a card is completed or its due date/assignee changes, the table updates accordingly.

## How to log in to the account?

- Only remaining working days for this week are counted; capacity is also prorated to those days.

- Overdue open cards are counted under Overdue, and cards without a due date under No Due Date; they are not distributed across weeks.

- Cards without an estimated duration are counted as "no estimate" in the cell but are not added to the hour total.

- The project's working days are taken into account; for example, work for a project that operates on Saturdays is also spread over Saturday.

> Tip By selecting a single project from the top dropdown, you can view only that project's workload and navigate between weeks using the arrows. Unassigned cards do not contribute to anyone's workload; you can find them by grouping the Table view by Assignee.
