# Custom fields

Add project-specific information to cards: customer name, quote amount, page type, approval status, etc. Fields are filled, sorted, and filtered as columns in the card window and Table view.

- Defining fields: project administrator

- Filling fields: project administrators and members

## Defining fields

- Open the Settings tab in the project and click Add Field in the Custom Fields section.

- Give the field a name and select its type: Text , Number , Date , Dropdown list or Checkbox . In the dropdown list, write options separated by commas (e.g., Home page, Inner page, Technical) and click Add 1.

- If you want the field value to also appear on the Kanban card, check Show on Card 2.

## Filling fields

- Each custom field appears in its own row within the card window; enter or select the value.

- In table view, custom fields appear as columns 1; click the cell to fill directly 2. Clicking the column header sorts by that field.

> Result The value is saved immediately and updated on the team's screen; it can be undone with Ctrl+Z. When a card is copied or repeated, field values are also carried over. Custom fields are also included in the Table's CSV.

> Tip You can write numbers in formats like 25.000 or 1.250,50. You can filter by Dropdown list and Checkbox fields from the Filter window, and save this filter. In the Table, you can hide a custom field column from Columns. A project can have up to 30 custom fields.

> Note The field type cannot be changed later. If you remove an option from the dropdown list, values on cards carrying that option are cleared; if you delete the field, it deletes values on all cards.
