# Audit log: who changed what and when

The audit log consolidates changes made in projects into a single list by person, project, and time: opening cards, moving them, date and priority changes, assignments, checklists, custom fields, lists and labels, member and role changes, files, budget and expenses, reversals, and project deletion.

- Company Administrator: all projects in the organisation, including deleted projects

- Project Manager: projects they manage

- Member, Viewer, and Customer: cannot see

## Reading the log

- Click Audit Log from the left menu. For a single project's log, you can also use the Open Log button in the Audit Log section on the project's Settings tab.

- Select project, person, change type, and date range with the filters above 1. The search box searches in card name, person name, and change details.

- Records are grouped by day, with the newest at the top 2. Each row shows hour, person who made the change, action, project, and change details; for example "SEO and speed check": To Do → In Review. If an action has many changes, the first three rows are visible, and the ... more changes link opens the rest.

- Clicking a project name opens the project; in a record concerning a single card, that card is opened. The Older records button at the end of the list brings the previous 50 records.

> Result Find out why a card was moved, who changed the budget, or when a person was removed from the project without searching. Download CSV gives a file that opens in Excel with the filtered record; each detail is on a separate line.

> Tip A reverted change is not deleted: the record shows the original change first, then a second row of type Reversion. Changes made by the AI assistant are written with the name of the person using the assistant.

> Note Records are kept for 400 days. The log of a deleted project remains; only the company administrator can access that log. Comments, time records, and notification settings do not enter the audit log; comments appear in the card's own history.
