Below every AI response, you can see the steps taken to generate it: information items read, products searched, and actions executed.

## How to read the AI trace?

Below every AI response, you can see the steps taken to generate it: information items read, products searched, and actions executed. Who can do this: Company administrators and agents. If the answer is incomplete or incorrect, adding an item to the knowledge base is usually sufficient. Ensure that 'Detailed view' is enabled in the Chat options at the top right.

## Steps

Open the conversation. Ensure that **Detailed view** is enabled in the **Chat options** at the top right.

Click on **How did it answer?** below an assistant's response 1.

In the **Steps** list, see which search the agent performed; in **Sources**, see which information and products were consulted 2.

**To correct an incorrect answer**If the answer is incomplete or incorrect, adding an item to the knowledge base is usually sufficient. For this chat only, you can provide **Instructions specific to this chat** from the **AI** tab in the right panel.
