# Screenshot protection in the mobile app

The SmartMail mobile app prevents screenshots and hides email content in the phone's "recent apps" preview. This protection prevents someone who picks up the phone from reading the last viewed email without opening the app. The protection is on by default in all organizations and is managed by DBLinx.
