# Setting up signatures for mailboxes

An administrator writes a separate signature for each mailbox on the **Signatures** screen of SmartMail Management. The signature is added only to emails sent from that mailbox; the sender sees the signature in the send preview along with the final version of the email.

## How to set up signatures for mailboxes?

The administrator writes a separate signature for each mailbox on the Signatures screen of SmartMail Management. Who can do this: Administrator (permission to manage mailboxes). The notification "Signature saved" appears on the screen. The signature is added only to emails sent from that mailbox; the sender sees the signature together with the final version of the email in the send preview.

## Steps

Open **Signatures** from the left menu. Next to mailboxes without a signature, "no signature" is shown.

From the list on the left, select the mailbox whose signature you want to edit 1.

Write the signature in the editor on the right 2. You can add bold, italic, underlined text and links.

Click **Save** 3.

**Result**The "Signature saved" notification appears on the screen. The signature is added to the end of subsequent emails sent from this mailbox.

**Note** When there are unsaved changes, the warning "There are unsaved changes." appears; save before switching to another mailbox. Signatures pasted from another program may contain long formatting code; if you get a signature too long warning, simplify the formatting.
