# The email I sent for approval is not in the list

Because the email you submit for approval is not sent until it is approved, it does not appear in the **Sent** folder. These emails are listed with their statuses in the **Sent by me** tab of the **Pending approvals** section on the left.

## The email I sent for approval is not in the list: what should I do?

Because the email you submitted for approval is not sent until it is approved, it does not appear in the Sent folder. Who can do this: the user who submitted the email for approval. These emails are listed, together with their statuses, in the Sent tab of the Pending approvals section on the left. If a reply you gave to an email has been submitted for approval, "The reply to this email is pending approval" appears above that email.

## What to do

Open **Pending approvals** on the left and switch to the **Sent by me** tab 1.

Click the request 2 and read its status: **Awaiting approval**, **Revision requested**, **Sent**, **Rejected** or **Cancelled**.

After the approved email is sent, it also appears in the **Sent** folder.

**Tip**If a reply you gave to an email has been submitted for approval, the email says "The reply to this email is awaiting approval".
