# Request priority and read receipt

Sends the mail with high or low priority, and requests read receipts from the recipient.

## How do you request priority and read receipt?

Sends the mail with high or low priority, and requests read receipts from the recipient. Who can do this: Users with permission to write in the mailbox. Sending read receipts depends on the recipient's program; not all recipients may send them. Tap More options on the compose screen. Select Low, Normal, or High for priority.

## Steps

On the compose screen, tap **More options** 1.

For **Priority** 2, select **Low**, **Normal** or **High**.

If you want a read receipt, select **Request read receipt** 3.
