# Refreshing the list

New mail appears in the list automatically while the app is open. If needed, you can also refresh the list manually.

## How do you refresh the list?

New mail appears in the list automatically while the app is open. Who can do this: Any user signed in to the app. If needed, you can also refresh the list manually. When the connection drops, the list is not deleted; at the top, The list could not be refreshed; showing the most recently received. Pull the list down with your finger and release, or tap the refresh button in the list header.

## Steps

Pull the list down with your finger and release it, or tap the refresh button in the list header.

To fetch new email from the mail server immediately, use the **Sync now** button on the **Settings** screen.

**Caution** When the connection drops, the list is not deleted; at the top it says **The list could not be refreshed; showing the most recently received.** Refresh again when the connection returns.
