## How to send a suspicious email to quarantine?

By sending an email suspected of phishing or fraud to quarantine, you protect everyone in the mailbox. Who can do this: A user with quarantine permission in the mailbox. The email is moved to the Quarantine folder and can be opened from there by everyone who can see the mailbox. AI can also quarantine emails it considers very risky; in that case, the email says AI put this email in quarantine.

## Steps

Open the email.

Tap **Send to quarantine** below the action buttons 1.

**Result** The mail is moved to the **Quarantine** folder and opens from there for anyone who can see the mailbox. The action is written to the audit log.

**Attention** AI can also quarantine emails it considers very risky; in that case the email says **AI quarantined this email. If you are sure it is safe, you can remove it.Tip** To recall an email you sent by mistake, open it in the **Quarantine** folder and use **Release from quarantine**.
