# Canned response templates in the mobile app

Save frequently used replies as templates and insert them with one tap on the compose screen. Recipient, subject, your name and date fill in automatically.

## What are canned response templates in the mobile app?

Saves replies you write often as templates, and you can insert them with a single tap on the compose screen. Who can do this: Any user signed in to the app. Templates you save also appear in the same list in the web dashboard. Recipient name, subject, your name and date are filled in automatically. Templates saved from the mobile app are personal. Write a new email or reply.

## Adding a template

Write a new email or reply. Tap the **Template** button below the text field 1.

The **Canned response templates** list opens 2. Below each template it says whether it is personal or organization-wide.

Tap a template. The template is added to the end of the text; if the text is empty, it replaces it 3.

## Variables

The following variables in the template text are filled in when you add them: **{ad}** the first recipient's display name (or the part before @ in the address), **{konu}** the email subject, **{benim_adim}** your name, **{tarih}** today's date (DD.MM.YYYY).

## Saving and deleting your own template

Enter the text you want to save as a template and tap **Template**.

Tap **Save this text as template** 4, give the template a name and tap **Save**.

To delete your own template, tap the ✕ on the row and confirm 5.

**Result** The template you save also appears in the same list on the web dashboard.

**Note** Templates saved from the mobile app are personal. Organization-wide templates are created by an administrator from the web dashboard; the delete icon does not appear on these templates.
