# Undoing a send in the mobile app

After you press Send, the email is not sent for a short time; if you change your mind during this time, you can undo the send and return to editing.

## How to undo a send in the mobile app?

After you press Send, the email is not sent for a short time; if you change your mind during this time, you can undo the send and return to editing. Who can do this: Any user signed in to the app. When the time is up, the email is sent and the preview closes. If you leave the app while the time is running out, the timer stops; when you return, you still have at least a few seconds to undo.

## To undo

Write the email and tap **Preview and Send**.

In the preview, select the period from the **Undo period** row 1. Your selection is stored on the phone.

Tap **Send**. The bottom bar shows the time remaining and the **Undo** button 2.

If you tap **Undo** before the time expires, the email is not sent and you return to the compose screen 3.

If you do not want to wait, tap **Send now**; the email is sent immediately without waiting for the delay 4.

**Result** The mail is sent when the time is up and the preview closes.

**Note** If you leave the app while the timer is running out, the counter stops; when you return, you still have at least a few seconds to undo. During this time, the back button does not close the screen.

**Attention** The undo period does not apply to scheduled emails or emails sent for approval.

**Tip** If you select **Off** for the duration, the email is sent immediately.
