## What is a potential phishing warning?

You see a warning banner above the subject in an email from a fake supplier, with changed bank details, or from an address resembling a familiar domain. Who can do this: Any user logged in to the application. If there is no warning, the banner does not appear at all. The banner is formed by signals from the email's security analysis. If there is a warning, a coloured banner appears above the subject line.

## To read the warning

Open the email. If there is a warning, a coloured banner appears above the subject line 1.

The red banner says **Warning: possible fraud**, the yellow banner says **Email requiring attention**.

The banner lists the reasons for the warning as bullet points; at the bottom is a recommendation in bold 2.

Do not make a payment, update bank details or open links before applying the recommendation 3.

**Result** If there is no warning, the banner does not appear at all. Mails you send do not have this banner.

**Caution** The banner is generated from signals in the email's security analysis. Verify the other party by calling a number you already know, not the number in the email.
