# View mail history

In the **History** tab of the side panel, the user sees the actions taken on an email by the team in order: who viewed it, who labelled it, who added a note, who replied, who added it to or removed it from the calendar. It is the fastest way to see who is handling an email in a shared mailbox.

## How to view mail history?

The user sees, in order, the actions performed by the team on an email in the History tab of the side panel: who viewed it, who labelled it, who added a note, who replied, who added it to the calendar or removed it from the calendar. Who can do this: a user who can see the email. It is the fastest way to find out who is handling an email in a shared mailbox.

## Steps

Open the email and click the **History** tab on the far right 1.

On each row in the list, read who performed the action, what the action was and when.
