# Switching between organizations | SmartMail

> Users with access to multiple SmartMail organizations can switch organizations from My Organizations in the My Account menu without re-entering their password.

# Switching between multiple organizations

If a group of companies uses multiple SmartMail organizations (for example, a separate address for each factory), the organizations you have access to are listed in the **My organizations** section of the **My account** menu. You switch to another organization with one click; a new session opens at that organization's address and you are not asked for your password again.

## How do you switch between multiple organizations?

If a group of companies uses multiple SmartMail organizations (for example, a separate address for each factory), the organizations you have access to are listed in the My Organizations section of the My Account menu. Who can do this: A user with access to multiple organizations. The mailboxes of the organization you select open. You switch to the other organization with one click; a new session opens at that organization's address, and you are not asked for your password again.

## Steps

Click your name in the top right to open the **My account** menu. The **My organizations** section at the top of the menu lists the organizations you can access 1; the organization you are currently in is marked **This organization**.

Click the name of the organization you want to switch to 2. The page switches to that organization's address and your session opens there.

**Result** The mailboxes of the organization you selected open. Your session in the previous organization does not close; when you return to that organization's tab, you continue where you left off.

**If the section is not visible**The My organizations section is visible only when you have access to more than one organization. If an organization's name is faded and cannot be clicked, that organization's dashboard address is not defined; contact your organization administrator.
