# First sign-in and two-step verification

Two-step verification is mandatory for partner accounts. On your first login, your authenticator app is linked to the dashboard and you are given single-use recovery codes for situations where you can't access your phone. On subsequent logins, you are asked for the 6-digit code from the app after your password.

## What are first sign-in and two-step verification?

Two-step verification is mandatory for partner accounts. Who can do it: every user in the partner organization. On later sign-ins, after your password you will be asked for the code from your authenticator app or one of your recovery codes. On first sign-in, your authenticator app is linked to the dashboard and you are given single-use recovery codes for when you cannot access your phone.

## Steps

- If you are a distributor **dist.smart360.com.tr**, if you are a reseller **bayi.smart360.com.tr** open this address. **Email (username)** field, enter the email address the invitation was sent to, **Password** field, enter your password. There is no separate username; your username is your email address.

- On first sign-in, a QR code appears on the screen. Scan the QR code with the authenticator app on your phone; if you cannot use the camera, enter the key below it into the app manually.

- 36-digit code in the app

- the 6-digit code generated by the app **Verification code** field, and **Verify and sign in**to remove it.

- **Your recovery codes** screen in a safe place. These codes will not be shown again; each code can be used only once.

- 2Confirm that you have saved them

- 3Go to the dashboard

- **I have saved the codes.** tick the box and **Go to dashboard**click it.

**Result** The dashboard opens. On later sign-ins, after your password you will be asked for the code from your authenticator app or one of your recovery codes.

**I lost my phone; how do I sign in?** Enter one of your recovery codes in the code field. Each code can be used only once.

**What if my account is suspended?** On the dashboard, the **Your account is suspended** warning appears. You can view your records; new sales and changes cannot be made.

## I forgot my password

If you have forgotten your password or never set one (the invitation email did not reach you), you can request a new link from the sign-in screen.

- On the sign-in screen, click the **I forgot my password / I have no password** link.

- Enter your email address, wait for the DBLinx Security verification to complete and click **Send link**click it.

- Open the link sent to your email, enter your new password twice and click **Save password**click it.

- Return to the sign-in screen and sign in with your email address and new password.

The same message appears on screen in every case; if the address belongs to a partner account, a link is sent. The link is valid for 1 hour and can be used once. If it does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder or ask your team owner to send you the link using **Copy link** ([Invitation link](https://dblinx.net/en/belgeler/is-ortaklari/ekip-ve-roller#davet-baglantisi)). A maximum of 3 requests per hour can be sent for the same address.

**Will my two-step verification be deleted?** No. Resetting your password does not change your authenticator app; the 6-digit code is still requested at sign-in. Your active sessions will be closed.
