# Invite a user

The Users screen in the DBLinx organization panel lets you add employees to your organization. A person is defined once; as soon as you grant access to a product, they're ready in that product's permission screen too.

## How do I invite a user?

The Users screen in the DBLinx organization panel lets you add employees to your organization. Who can do this: the organization's tenant administrators. The person appears in the user list. A person is defined once; as soon as you grant access to a product, they're ready in that product's permission screen too. To send the link, the person needs access to at least one product or tenant administrator rights.

## Steps

- From the left menu, **Users**; the screen shows users on the left and departments on the right.

- **"+ Add person"**click it.

- 1Users in the left menu

- 2Adds a new person

- **"Add new person"** window, **Username** and **Full name**; add, if you want, an **Email** email address.

- **Department** list, choose the person's department, or leave them **Without a department** .

- **"Add person"**click it.

- Open the person's card to grant product access and send the password link.

**Result** The person appears in the user list. Until they set their password, this is noted separately in the list.

**The password link can't be created.** The person needs access to at least one product or tenant administrator rights.

**The person has no email address.** If the link can't be sent by email, this is shown on the screen; **"Copy link"** lets you pass the link on to the person yourself.
